Revzilla is an absolutely top-notch outfit. I've spoken with two of the owners on the phone directly, and they have been nothing short of wonderful.

I ordered a Shoei Hornet DS helmet with free shipping at 4:00 PM on a Monday. It arrived at my door at 11:00 AM the next day. Can't beat that.

There's no way they'd be buying black market items. Never, in a million years.

cycle gear actully had them?????

Cycle gear Plano, TX had one left on the shelf.

I agree 100%. I've purchased several items that I had to return/swap for various reasons and they were nothing short of great and easy to deal with. Awesome website as well. Any retailers regardless of the industry should follow suit.

reviving this old thread im looking at getting a g4. my question is how is the audio when listening to music since i seen a lot of reviews saying its not that loud. also if i get a bluetooth adapter on my ipod will the g4 connect to both my ipod and phone. i know it will separately but will it at the same time and switch over to my phone if a call comes in? i dont want to use my phone for music due to it will die in like an hour. also do not want to plug in the ipod since thats the point with going with this system.

Audio is great. More than loud enough! Better than shoving ear buds in.

I agree one, thanks for the response.

I finally purchased the g4 yesterday. Very impressed with it. I've still got quite a bit to learn as there are so many features to this system, but the basics are pretty impressive. I told a friend to call me at a certain time while I was out riding and he literally asked me if I was riding. I have a relatively loud exhaust and was riding 75mph on the highway when he called with a bell star helmet which is also a little noisy due to the high air flow. He couldn't tell at all, thought I was sitting still.

It paired flawlessly with my iPhone and had no issues while riding. It has automatic volume feature which basically the volume increases as the road noise increases. I actually had to turn it down while riding.

The one con is the speaker sound and its really not a con, but something that could be improved in future models. It's plenty loud, but it's all treble and no bass. And I'm not looking for a heavy bass by any means especially with such small speakers, but it could use a little more balance between the two.

I'm looking forward to using the intercom feature on a road trip. We'll see how that goes.

If anyones on the fence, it's well worth it. I highly recommend it.

JRage, Thats a good question and I don't know the answer for sure? My guess is it will as it basically works that way with my iphone/iPod. And taking that a step further, not everyones phone has an ipod built in, so im guessing it will. I'll sit down with it over the next couple days and see if the instructions say for sure.

thats good but will it connect to both my ipod and phone using bluetooth at the same time and switch between them?

i bought the g4 waiting for the bluetooth adapter to come in for my ipod. the speakers seem to be okay for radio but at 70 is really hard to hear someone on the phone. maybe im just def lol

its for my ipod so i can stream my music off my ipod via bluetooth thus being no wires. that was my whole question because i want my ipod and phone to both sync up over bluetooth so i dont have to plug anything in.

this one

i got that one. its suppose to work good and unlike others its not suppose to completely kill your battery life.

for anyone wanting to know it does work i have my ipod and phone hooked up to the g4 at the same time and when i get a phone call it pauses my ipod and when the call is over it resume the music without hitting any buttons. i did however have to change a setting in my phone for this to work. in the bluetooth options on my htc evo i have 2 options so i can go threw bluetooth with media and phone. i had to turn media off and it works like a charm.

yea and at first i was having troubles with the phone dropping my voice but i moved it all forward so the mic is in front of my mouth and it works perfect. also netty what settings are you using for sensitivity? i have all mine set to high right now.

I have this one, works really well even at 80mph, came with two sizes of mic foam pieces, charger, Velcro squares for the ear piece, had it for a couple of years now and still working like the day my wife bought it...will sync my Blackberry up when I get home in 2 weeks!

I havent changed any sensitivity settings. I'm using it as it came from the box, factory settings and it seems to be working great.

That sucks it froze. Probably need to update your firmware. Did cardo offer any help?

i havent talked to them yet and it was updated before it froze. it worked fine yesterday just today it froze so we will see if it was a 1 time thing or not.
