I think with some time spent setting the bike up, the little things, my high 9 with a street tune is possible. I say that purely based on my MPH. That MPH is a 9.7/9.8. That tells me I'm leaving a lot at the starting line between my 60' numbers and my 660' numbers. So now I have to figure out how to improve those numbers. I will start with a front tire change, simply because it is toast. Once a good tire is on the bike I'll put some air to the tire to try and limit rolling resistance. Next up is lowering my shift points. Looking at my dyno sheet the bike goes linear at 10k to 10.5k. I'm shifting at 10.5k. Knocking it down to say 10.2 k may save with wasting time running up in the rpms with no power gain as well as dropping me back into the torque after the shift. I also HAVE to concentrate on going to WOT immediately, sometimes I don't think I do this quick enough. This is where the two stage limiter will help.

I'll get this bike in the nines on a street tune with street exhaust before the summer is over. Than it will get a race tune and possibly a race exhaust, mid 9's is the goal. From there maybe a little nitrous to see how low in the 9's the bike will go.

Knowing who I was running was a help as we both put some heat in the tires.

I'm not sure if this is the run or not however Rich was treeing me most of the night. Now keep in mind I was cutting .0XX lights with one .005. Rich red-lit twice trying to jump me on the line.

I'm carrying the wheel here.

The bike came down here for some reason. I think I spun as I was launching a around 8500 RPM. Look at Rich's bike picking the wheel up.

I loaded my clutch on my 1st run to about 1500, needless to say, I could use a wheel bar myself.

Puzzled you just won the award of most consecutive posts in one thread by any person on the internet lol.

Oh so close to a 9. There were 4 oil downs tonight so I got very few runs in in comparison to most nights. My first two runs were not so exciting as the air shifter wasn't cooperating. One run I just aborted and the other I foot shifted to the tune of a 10.338. With that fixed my times were dropping. I was concentrating of going full throttle as soon as I could. I had my shifter set at 9500 tonight, a full one thousand lower than where I have been running it. My next time out I'll try the shifter with a little less/more RPM's.

I can lengthen the bars if I extend the swing arm. The bars can not be any longer than the bikes wheelbase. Yes longer bars would be sweet.

I lowered the bars a little tonight. They were a tad high from where I originally set them. I only recall the bike acting weird once tonight. It was launching like a SOB tonight turning 1.51-1.52 60' times. There may be a little more in there..............

I have a good portion of my airbox work done. I have to fabricate a set of screens for the throttle bodies as well as fabricate a new larger inlet for the ram air.

A slight change in plans.......... I now have a chassis that I will set up just for the track. I'm not saying full blown drag bike just something I can leave set up for the track as opposed to switching my stuff back and forth for the track and street.

The parts collection.

I pulled the motor apart today to see what had happened and what the damage was.

These are some parts I pulled from the top side of the head.

The "rocker" is broke.

This is the rear head. I think this is the damage from when the motor went the first time. Why it went again I don't know. I suspect faulty assembly.
