I ordered an EBR 2.05 pound battery so out came the cinder block of a battery. A 9 1/2 pound weight savings.

I will have to add a slot for the strut once I am able to bolt the swingarm back on. The area created should be large enough to hold all of the wiring along with the battery.

OK I believe I have come up with my bore size of choice. As of now I'm going to go with a 4.270" bore which will net me close to a 1250 CC displacement (1247). This bore size will leave me plenty of wall thickness on both the thrust and non thrust side as well as the skirt. By going this way I won't have to use epoxy or block fill to reinforce the areas that may be a little close to my minimum clearances that I desire.

I CC'd the heads tonight (non scientific way) and came up with 26.4 Combustion Chamber volume, small!

A slight change in plans, again. The bore is going to a 4.275" in order to come up with rings. The 4.270" apparently is an "in between" size. On the plus side I will now have a true 1250 CC/76.3 CUIN motor.

My XBRR airbox showed up today, It is far more complete than I was expecting. Weight wise the complete ram air weighs close to what an OEM outer airbox cover weighs.

I understand I don't have to turn much with a drag bike however I think I'll have to drop the tubes back down a 1/2".

I'm going to try and work the provided snorkel to get it to work however I know I'm going to have to build a new "Scoop" portion. This way I can get it tucked into the bottom of the windshield.
