single pull throttle?

Hello recently purchased an 04 firebolt.
Bike currently has a single pull throttle set up.
I purchased a race dual pull throttle. Is it possible for me to set the tps at home. bike currently has a really high idle im assuming from the shim sham throttle cable set up now. the adjuster screw near the front left fork insnt doing anything?

I thought about adding another throttle body to mine. Lets see what anyone has to say.....

I changed mine to a single pull cable (the spring is enough to close). Like the clean/simple look and smooth action...
Also want to change throttle (don't need emergency kill or all that bulk). Would like a narrower assembly so I can move the grips inward.
Haven't found anything yet with just a start button...
