Sneak Peek at 2014 EBR Motorcycles

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't the Typhoon actually a build that the Pegasusraceteam and Gruner Engineering did?
When I spoke to Erik he told me it was a collaboration with them.

hmm nice concepts...i like all of them because they are different and also looking very nice. Specially the first design which is in black and white color and the second last because these two designs are completely different and never see them before.

I don't understand, can't EBR buy sportster engines from Harley and keep making the XB? Harley would be getting paid, don't they wanna do business? I don't get it.

Like I know they need dealerships, but they can do something similar to Ural. If Ural can find dealerships, I'm sure EBR would be able to.

Dealerships often only have 1 or 2 Urals for sale at a time. Their headquarters are in Washington state. And Urals are really poor quality motorcycles. But they still sell.

EBR could get Troy running in a downsized form, and put out a limited amount of bikes per year. Give some basic service training and manuals to the dealers. Any major warranty issues, the bike would be sent back to Troy for repair or replacement. Who knows, if the XB's were in the view of customers looking at 600cc bikes, interest and demand could spark.

I feel like alot of the guys who walked into Harley shops never gave the Buell a second look, they were set on buying a Harley. Perhaps if EBR could get their product in the eyes of the younger market, demand could grow. I know from my experience, most guys young or old can't identify my bike.

What I am saying is, put XB's in the same showrooms as Japanese bikes and lets see what happens.

I'm starting to lean toward this guy being a spammer, I could be wrong though.

As a design engineer AT EBR, I'm going to let all of you know that not a single one of those pictures above is a representation of the concept of the RX, SX, or AX. EBR is extremely careful with keeping confidential information from the public until the desired release date. Keep your eyes out around the fourth quarter of this year for the real deal. The typhoon was not created by anyone at EBR whatsoever.

Thank you for the info.

This is the Typhoon 1190 from Pegasus Race Team.

This set of XB's customized as part of a build called the Manticor project might resemble the RS lines.

Think this guy has the rear seat rails spot on.

Great mod.

konarider94, I said "fourth quarter" instead of October for a reason. Could be anytime between October and December. And yes we will be ready.

@cgreenwalt: nice to see some one from EBR here on the forum. [up] Excited to see the new models! Maybe you could give us some insight into what roll you played in them:D
