I have the gsxr levers and love them. Back before Christmas you( I ) couldn't find buell xb specific levers for under $200 to save my life, so I got the gsxr levers and did what needed to be done. I understand that they are not made for my bike and understand the what could happen if not done properly. Maybe some people are just cheap and get what they can at the time or are in a jam and need them yesterday so again they get what they can make work instead of what does work.

Im pretty sure this more likely the reason then people just being stupid like others above had said above or implied. I know that i have a gsxr brake lever on my bike atm.
Dropped my bike last summer while on vacation at my parents house in NC.

So let me clairfy a justifiable reason for everyone that isnt thinking hard enough about it or are just jumpiing to conclusions.

Go to a Generic sportbike store (ex. cycle gear) and see how many buell specific parts you find. Then look into how many Gsxr parts u find. Not everyone wants to wait a week or two for parts to come in or pay overnight shipping. Some people actually enjoy riding their bikes and not just talking about what they have done to it.
