Just want to know some of the comments that you guys hear from other people about your bike. I just got my bike over Thanksgiving and I rode it only 2 days then it was winter. The first day I drove it the guy at the gas station said "What a sharp looking bike! I never have seen a rotor that big...very unique."

Just yesterday I had my bike serviced up at the dealership and the mechanic said "what did you do to your bike? It runs amazing"

Another guy at the gas station said "Man I love that see through tank, did you make that yourself?"

So what are some of yours??? I cant wait to ride it this summer!

i always get comments on the front brake rotor. besides that the sound is what gets most attention with the drummer. you cant go wrong with an xb12

-"Your gas tank is see through?!" (Then I'm explaining where gas is held while they're looking through the translucent air cover to see if I'm lying LOL.)

The best one was from the guy that perpt my bike at the HD shop. he said it's the best looking buell they sold so far.

The other well wasn't a comment but was fun anyway, I was riding at night on a highway and a car full of kids pulled right beside me and every single one of them had there face in the window drooling even the one driving couldn't take his eyes from the bike. lol

I was at Walmart and when I came out a lady poked her head out the window and said, "What is so unique about your bike?". So I gave here the list and when I was done she said, "Oh, cause there was about four people out here taking pictures of it". Another time I was at Walmart I was in a hurry and I was stopped by a guy passing by as soon as I started my bike and five minutes worth of compliments later I was able to leave.[up][up]

I had my bike parked next to a Sportster warming up and some harley guy said he loved how my bike sounded as he was refurring to the sportster. Then goes on to say how that crotch rocket next to me is stupid bla bla, then I turn and throw my leg over my Buell and the guy drops his jaw and says "WTF is that?"

I love how people mock things they don't understand.

Alot of people make lame remarks about Buells,I've noticed that I'm one of the few people in NW Florida with no chicken strips!Even at 50 years old.

Last weekend i was on my way Home to Houston from San Antonio, i stopped at a big gas station. Of course it was a beautiful day and the road was packed with cruisers. A guy pulls up next to me just as i was gettin off my bike and says " I bet its hard to get comfortable cruisin down the highway on such a narrow tire" he was comparing my 180 metz to his 260 metz. to which i replied its not quite like riding on a auto tire like his but at least i use all of my tire.

Some guy asked me if my bike was a moped lol. I said yes and started it up, his jaw dropped as well lol.

A cop that pulled me over said it was sharp.

And I think I have almost caused cagers to run off the road cuz they just stare and forget about the road.

And then the common one "what is that?"

- long ride, park it, fan starts blowing after shutdown...guy stops me...
'hey, you left your bike running!'

- guy walked up and said: 'hey, that looks like playmobil' (toys playmobil.com)
i replied yea: 'you haven't see the best part yet, look here' (i show something near my exhaust, guy bends over)...start the bike, guy runs off and looks from a distance with his jaw to the ground looking like he saw some kind of miracle.

- police pulls me over for sound, looks at the bike and at my airboxcover where it says 'buell american motorcycles' and asks me: 'what make is this?'
replied: 'a buell'
police: 'ach, never heard of it'
replied: 'then why did you pull me over?'

- etc etc

"From what I can tell all of you are metric riders, however I am not. I ride a 07 Buell XB12R so I thought I'd post up a couple pics of my baby for you all to enjoy."

pulled up to the pump the other day next to a R1 and the guy on it said that he thought a V-Rod was coming aroung the corner and then saw me... He asked what the hell kind of crotch rocket sounds like a Harley.. and I replied with a big grin a BUELL
then he says that he would have to check into one for his next bike... one down many more japs to go
