Bajabomber87 we were welding those covers up for a job for somebody that is actually making a kit that includes these. There for a 12 valve. I dont know enough to say if they will or wont work on a 24 valve but I do know I can get you a price for one by itself if you would like.

Two-inches too much rise for XB-R?

Im looking for about a two inch rise for my XBR. I have removed the front fairing on my XBR and am looking for some way to raise my bars without changing the upper triple clamp.

this seems to be a good option from americansprtbike.com but its way to much for how simple it is.

would the Rox bar risers work on an XBR? description says its for a XBS.

Actually, they are alot less than the convertibar setup. (And they look ALOT better!) I just bought a set from americansportbike with the Uly bar warmer kit. Gonna put them on tues! I'm stoked! I have a 08 1125R.

I have been thinking about putting those bars but Al says he is not sure if the firebolt faring will interfere with it or not. I am sure any welding shop could make some of those out of a set of stock bars for cheap.

If you duplicate my plate mount (the second pic on the first page) - be aware that my original mount broke off and was dangling by the LED wires. The weld had fatigued enough to break at the base. That is the reason I never went into production with them. I believe it was a combination of weight and vibration. I did remake it and lightened it up considerably, it is still steel though, and mounted it with isolators. I have no time on it yet to see if it is any better.

Feel free to borrow the design - I just wanted to share my experience.

Bajabomber87 I got ahold of the guy we were doing the covers for and he is working on a 24valve valve cover. He said he could sell the cover by itself for $700. It sounds like a lot but there's a lot of work in these with the billet rails and sheet metal. There a o-ring seal.

He was making a complete roller top end kit for the cummin's engines. All of it was machined out of billet Al and he was making the cover for clearance issues more than anything.

Ok guys I've relized some differences of swingarms for the Buells. I have a whole swingarm assembly(rim and tire, brakes,...) off an XB9R 03 that I got a engine off of. What year did they change the swingarm. Because the main thing that is different is the section that comes off for changing of the drive belt. With that being said who has one of these newer models that wants one of these fenders.

We've got a design done and are starting to do the fabrication of it and the new style swing arms dont look like there going to change to much of it but I'm not a 100% sure either.

Hey guys! In regards to the license plate mount, how about making one that mounts in the axle bolt? How about one with integrated axle sliders? It would then fit all years and serve dual purpose- engineer it once, great value!

I would probably buy that, I already have dark horse spool sliders but depending on the look I could go for that. so long as it doesn't rip off and tear up the bike in a low side.
