one thing I real want is an adjustable tensioner for a chain drive. like the spring loaded one from free spirits but manually adjustable preferably with a screw. I can send you a tensioner if needed.

I'm still thinking about a dual purpose axle slider/license plate mount. It could be adjusted to any position needed and made to fit in the hex end of the axle bolt with a round slider style nut threaded on to hold the angle adjustment, on the other side just a good, solidly secured slider.

one of these tensioners

I think most of us can find the sprockets if you were to make a tensioner for us.

the chain guard would be a nice piece too.

Hey guys here is a rendering of the license plate/axle sliders design. It will alter slightly when it is built but this will give you all an idea.

For the fender we are looking to have the prototype done by the end of this week. Once this is done I can get you all a price for the item. The tensioner can be done but do understand we are busy right now and trying our hardest to get you guys all these items as soon as we can. For most of these items once the first one is done it will move along much faster. Thank you all for the patients.

Thanks Josh

just curious how would you keep the plate form rotating with that set up. It is a nice idea but I see it falling down unless you have an idea to prevent that.

Yes one idea we had to fix that was to have a "nub" of the slider with the plate mount that had two flat faces on it opposite of each other that would insert into the hex of the axle and the other slider would then screw onto the all thread securing it into place. And I do understand in the rendering the mount is flipped and on the wrong side.

If built right, the fender/plate mount/axle slider setup could incorporate a stand and be reversible for the 1125 series with the belt drive on the left.

Does anyone have a set of calipers that can measure the distance from the center of the axle to the centers of the two allens for the rear caliper on a 06 XB or newer?

If I am understanding you correctly, you are looking for the length of the axle through the center? It is only an allen on one end, round on the other. I have an '05 and I don't know if it would be different or not but I could measure length with a tape measure. Please excuse me if I'm not understanding the question correctly.

hebejoshing: are you gonna make more of the hidden caliper brackets? If so EVLXB has all those measurements. He is the one who originally made the bracket I bought. I would take another for my buddy if you are gonna make them.

ill take one of those hidden caliper brackets. i also live in kokomo. kinda close by and im wondering if you know an old big guy named curt henriott. he lives in rochester.

Here is the measurment I need of a 06 XB or newer. Thanks

xlr8n xb if Evlxb wants to give those measurements to me I would be more than willing to make those brackets. Although Im not quit sure even exactly what these hidden brake caliper brakets are, if you could post a photo up I'd appreciate it. Thanks Josh

Kokomochandler Curts name sounds familiar but I cant place a face. What year bike do you have?

From my 09 XB9SX... as best as I can tell. Furthest point from axle center is 4-3/4" and the shorter one is 2-11/16" from axle center. If anyone else can recheck these measurements, it would be appreciated.

it would be appreciated if you post the blueprint for the hidden bracket evlxb. i just want to make one for myself. i wont be competing with anyone.
