Speedo Off by 10

So I replaced my 22,000mi 05' engine in 05- 12R with a 2,200 mi 07' engine.

Had a gps on my bike and the speedo's off by 10-15 ish. The gps is dead on for my car, and I can tell I'm not going the speed it tells me so its the speedo for sure. Worked fine with the old motor.

Any ideas? Can I just swap the tran. speed sensor from the 05' into the 07' and hope it works? I vaguely remember something about different voltages between years.

Anyone sold this problem before? Can i add a resistor or something?

My mileage is shooting up because it think's I'm going way faster than I am.

Pg 7.58 of the SM has a flowchart diagnostic for it (minus tester, a wave form meter should work)

I'll check tonight to see if my multimeter has hz
or if work has an osilloscope

It does have HZ, but how the hell am I gonna ride and read the meter? ****....
