I'm still in shock, a guy with a GSXR tramp stamp and tight leather pants. Are the Village People holding auditions? You see squids all the time here in Florida, now that the weather is getting warmer, people will be wearing even less here. Motorcycling, Darwinism at it's finest, evolve or become extinct.

it comes from new riders , cus when they ride there alover the place and they resemble a squid in that way lol.

I have heard three versions

1 it was coined after WWII when military personnel were returning home and had little to do with most of the factories being converted to war efforts and fully employed at the time began to purchase motorcycles. riding fast and risking life and limb on two wheels was becoming a common practice among the war veterans. the most noticeable were the navy sailors wearing white uniforms.

2 when road racing motorcycles was becoming popular along the west coast many younger riders began to get involved and many veterans of the sport referred to them as squirreley kids (to describe the hyper active and often reckless actions while both riding a motorcycle and their actions in the paddock areas), this was either mis heard or shortened to squids.

3 a squid is a creature known for its straight line speed but needs to slow to a near stop to turn. new bikers can exhibit the same tendency slowing greatly for corners and then accelerating wildly once the road goes straight again.

SQUID:

-Stupidly Quick, Underdressed, Ignorant and Dangerous
-Stupidly Quick, Underdressed and Imminently Dead (my personal favorite)
-Super Quick Until I Die

LOL fock.. question 43

#

You think you can outrun
A a police paddy-wagon.
B a police cruiser.
C a police pursuit car.
D a motorola.

and urban dictionary:
Squid 934 up, 87 down

buy squid mugs, tshirts and magnets
A young motorcyclist who overestimates his abilities, boasts of his riding skills when in reality he has none. Squid bikes are usually decorated with chrome and various anodized bits. Rear tyres are too wide for their own good, swingarm extended. Really slow in the corners, and sudden bursts of acceleration when a straight appears. Squids wear no protection, deeming themselves invincible. This fact compounds intself with the fact that they engage in 'extreem riding'--performing wheelies and stoppies in public areas. Squids wreck alot. Derived from 'squirly kid'

and my fav:
A young man on an incredibly over powered motorcycle, wearing nothing but a helmet.

The term derives from what is discernable from his corpse:
A helmet with stringy fleshy bit dangling from the bottom.

call me color blind but I'd say that's purple

I file this into the squid category too:
Squid Pirates

They are called squid because the EMT's keep coming up on accidents with the bikers internals hanging out, this comes directly from the mouth of a professional stunter who rides with a group here in Orlando that calls themselves the squid squad!

Purple bike (pillion does look pink in light), leather pants, GSXR tramp stamp...like omg fashion statement people:p
