stator issues

Anyone experience stator problems due to running both headlights-on simultaneously and/or heated gear? My son has burned 2 stators on 2 separate buells.Running dual headlights plus heated gloves in winter were the common denominators.

no. check your VR 77 plug but i run dual lights and heated grips on my uly with never a complaint.
