Whats the difference in the two if any one knows? Going to do a chain conversion and planned to use the stock idler with a sprocket from EBR, but I saw the "race" idler in the EBR store and it had me thinking if it was any different. Any help is appreciated.[cool]

It relocates the idler position to accommodate for the smaller diameter of the sprocket versus the stock belt pulley.

This is the response i received from EBR. Very fast responses by email. Customer Service and help looks good at EBR.[up]

I just received the EBR idler arm in the mail and it is almost identical to the stock idler arm except the upper mounting hole is drilled in a different location. It holds the idler sprocket up higher than the stock arm. You could accomplish the same thing by drilling a second hole in or slotting the stock arm. I have a couple stock arms with slotted upper mounting holes to provide chain adjustment.

Yeah i went ahead and ordered the EBR idler, sprocket and spacer. I will keep the stock for the same reason you have yours to adjust to chain stretch when the time comes. Good idea. [cool]

make sure you slot the upper hole and not just drill another one [up] and your sprockets are on there way
