Hey all, first time posting here.

Haven't ridden my 2009 Buell 1125CR in about a week. Bike is kept outside, locked to a railing, covered by a motorcycle tarp.

Went to ride it today, and suddenly the clutch lever had zero resistance. This has never happened before. I've put around 5,000 miles on the bike, and the clutch has never had a problem. I tried to start it, and, predictably, it stalled the instant I tried to shift into first (with the clutch lever pulled). I'll be reading through the manual tonight to see if I can figure out what might be happening.

Is this the kind of thing that can just spontaneously start happening, or might it be the result of some tampering? I do have some questionable neighbors, some of whom (teenage kids) have already knocked the bike over once before.

+1 on the fluid level and check the clutch weep see if it has been running down the RH side primary cover.

Check the level of the Clutch Fluid then the weep hole on the Clutch pack. If no leak is apparent; then bleed the line and make sure to not let any air in.If the Clutch Lever won;t pump up or respond. Possibly you may need a reman kit .
Try Those areas first then look up Erik Buell Racing .com OR your Dealer if they are Buell Friendly.
American SportBike .com will Also be able to help you with that.Good Luck. *Jimi
