Supermoto Pron...

I pretty much gave up on that craigslist bike. I emailed the guy to see if he had any pictures of the bike with the street wheels on it and he said he's never had those wheels on the bike and they would need a little fab work. Basically he has a street legal dirtbike, found some random 3 spoke street bike wheels to toss in and is calling it a supermoto. Considering I'd end up replacing the wheels with some spoked wheels eventually, this basically puts me right back where I'd be if I bought any WR450F, which I'm sure I can do for less than $4k. Still think I'd much rather have one than a DRZ but I'll see what I can find when the time comes. I'm still hesitant to spend the money though because I'd really like to get my hands on an xb12 first.

those huskys are fast....but for commuting im not a fan. i dont like how the steering locks at such a shallow angle. i know...minor detail but its funky when maneuvering a parking lot, etc.

lady pics on an SM coming soon.....ive got a friend im planning on doing a shoot with my pipes as well. probably a pinup theme.....so ill post em when i get it done.

i race on west coast. socal.

I picked up my 2003 wr450f in 2008 for $2700 and it had been in storage since 2005 so we pulled it out and it looked like the showroom floor.

Good to know! I don't know what I'll end up paying yet but I was hoping to pay anywhere from $2700 for a beat up drzsm, up to $4k for something a little cleaner/faster. If I found something like yours for under $3k I could buy some used wheels, find a kit for the front brake and gearing and be in pretty good shape.

a beat up drzsm
That is the problem with supermotos, if they aren't always supermotos they get beaten on pretty hard in the woods if the wrong asshole gets a hold of it. Now, the WR seems to take the little bit of abuse i put it through just fine but everyone knows someone that runs their toys to the breaking point...Just have to be careful when buying. Nobody likes a money pit :D

Dang. Those 70-200mm's are bad ass. I need to get the nikon version. (actually I need a new nikon camera first).
