Tail Light Enhancement Mod Idea

It was pretty easy. I drilled a small whole in the bars( near each switch box) and ran the wire out of the whole and over to the blinker circuit. I also used a grommet in the whole so it wouldnt cut the wire.

When I first did it, I had comments like "I wouldn't drill wholes in my bars. It would take away their strength." Well when I installed my heated hands grips, the buell instructions had me drill 2 more wholes. So wholes in the bars aren't that bad I guess. I'm not worried.

I have had two setups with my bike, the first setup was my DIY where I used duplicolor truck bed liner and chrome spray paint on my housing with the stock bulb and lens. It helped a little, and is inexpensive to do. here is the link if any one is interested.

However once I saw Twoguns setup a few years back, I followed suit and purchased the Eciptech setup, only with a clear lens instead of smoke.
