I have been that little kid in the candy shop about the Buell xb9 and will finally have enough to buy a used one in just a few months.

I have sat on a friend's xb9 and it seemed fine, but have not yet ridden one. I am about 6'2 maybe 6'3 on hot days and weigh about 170, somewhat athletic build.

Are there any taller riders who can help me out on this one? Anyone know if the xb9 would be suitable for a taller, 21 year old with a more or less fit frame?

I have been looking at seat risers as well as foot-peg lowering kits that can give about an extra inch of space, if I will need to make some adjustments.

I would really hate to ditch the xb9 as one of my options bcause I love it more than my girlfriend, so please help me out if you can!

I'm close to 6'2" and about 190 and it was the perfect starter bike for me. it wasnt so small that it was uncomfortable but it really allowed me to feel confident and in control. now that i've been riding for about a year or so, it is starting to feel small, not only in size but in power. it's still fun as hell to throw around, but when i want to get tucked in and haul ass, my balance feels a little off cause my long body crunched up puts too much weight in the middle i think..

6'3" 165 and 37 i road 15000 miles last year on a xb9sx
7k with a firebolt tail
stock piegs on the lightening wich are 1" drop you won't regret buying a buell
