Wolfo68= well then I dont want to be the odd man out! You are hilarious and awesome. Stay thirsty my friend![up]

EnemyZero = I hope you have resolved your hunger problem, if not the govt. will give you all the food you want! Unless you actually need it!

thanks for the concern buddy! Its more of a self imposed thing. I got sick of being a fat mess and mid February decided to make a change. I've been on a strict workout and eating plan and have dropped 30lbs so far. Unfortunately because of it, I'm perpetually hungry. On the bright side, I've lost enough weight to get out of the >230lb suspension settings and excited to fit back in XL shirt for the first time in years.

Enemy Zero= Good for you man, consider this your official pat on the back! Hopefully this will keep you on the right track. Water water water.

BuddaBuell= If you are self medicated and it works for your life in a positive way "good on you". If you are self medicated and its not healthy, well then this is not dear Abby, AA is the answer for you. Don't be a quitter be a problem solver " brought to you by your friends at doctorphill.com

thanks! Water is definitely the key. Every meal and snack starts with a full cup of water. I can't stand the taste of soda water but I've forced myself to drink it to break my craving for sodas. Its a lot of conditioning yourself to find substitutions for the bad stuff you were eating before and find stuff that's just as good that won't kill you.

anyone that's interested, I highly recommend Dr. Ian Smith's super shred and shred diet books. These are what I've been using to lose my weight and its been working great. You don't have to buy any foods or silly magic stuff. Just read the books and follow the meal plans.

I need to find a way to kick my soda addiction. I've cut back tremendously but still have one every day, sometimes more. It's really more that there's just not really anything else I want to drink so I drink soda. I do drink a lot of water, probably a full glass every hour or so, which is what you're "supposed" to I think, but still drinking soda too.

I had some organic soda this weekend that was pretty damn good, almost tasted just like coke. But still has a shit load of sugar.

Well, i am stressed, and scared. Made the decision to leave the military after 14.5 years.. it was getting to much to deal with, my alcohol was getting out of control, and referred myself to alcohol rehab, inpatient for 28 days in january, now stressing about getting a job with Union Pacific in Oregon... passed all the tests and was offered a job,... a recent medical questionaire asked if i had been to rehab for alcohol or drugs.. i was honest... now stressing the fact that they might deny employment for that fact.

JuGGernaut= dang so close to 20. Did you not try rehab through military. I wish I was still in the corps.

best of luck to you. I don't see why they would be down on someone for doing the right thing to better their life. Good on you for facing your demons and being able to come out on top. I will keep my hope up for you.

Yea close to 20.. but if I were to try and finish the 5.5 years.. I think I would be worse off then jsut drinking a shit ton. But things are looking up as far as the railroad... better pay and better working environment. Need to find time to finish my custom see thru air box mod :))))

Sometimes I dislike the Air Force. I was supposed to forward deploy tomorrow, but we don't have a plane to take us there. We're the Air Force...that's kinda our specialty... Not to leave this out, but I'm currently deployed to the most active base in the Middle East right now. We have planes coming and going everyday. Ugh.

If the first person you meet in the day is an asshole, they are probably an asshole.
If you meet nothing but assholes all day long, then you are probably the asshole.

Last night I put on a shirt to brush my teeth so I wouldn't have to see my manboobs jiggle. Guess it's time to start working out again.

RossLH:

OR you could get an electric toothbrush ... the toothbrush does all the moving so your manboobs dont jiggle
