The 47

a company of guys who love motorcycles, not a profit driven project. It's a design exercise.

Which is why I appreciate these builds. And why I also like the whole 47 Ronin idea.

I wish I lived close enough to actually meet the guys and see one of the Ronin bikes.

On a different note, Ronin Motorworks reminds me of Confederate Motorcycles, specifically the Wraith. That, and the whole idea of having a deeper purpose in crafting a bike and then executing a design excercise. Some like it, some don't. It's about the design, passion, purpose, and the ride. It's not about pleasing everyone and fitting in. That's pretty much what Buell was/is about.

It's the idea, the concept of the whole thing. Ronin took 47 bikes that were left without a master, if you will, saved them and gave them a new purpose.

The creative side of me thoroughly appreciates what they're accomplishing.

I think it's pretty bad ass. I don't understand the hate? Looks well done and executed perfectly. I think it's common for some to see only the cost and try to rationalize the difference in a few stand out parts. While there are some high dollar parts here, it's the little things that add up and make the big things possible. The little things that mostly go unnoticed are what takes the most time.

I'm not justifying the price, just saying there's always stuff behind the scenes that adds up.

I like the design. It's bold and interesting. Not my personal style but I certainly appreciate it. They do definitely seem to have taken some inspiration from some of Confederate's older bikes. Which are also fascinating builds.

Cool builds. If I was an orphan 1125 and my step parents turned me into that hulk I certainty wouldn't be bitching lol.

Erico...had to do some sweet talking, but they rode one down. The ronin shop is 3 blocks north of erico

I really appreciate this bike from a design standpoint. Not that the 1125 was a bad designed bike, in fact it was designed very well and I am constantly amazed by the genius that went into it, but the ronin(s) is like before mentioned a design/engineering exercise. I appreciate it. Would I spend money on it? Probably not a lot. I have no place in my stable for such a bike. I personally would rather make my own given I had the resources. That said it is an impressive bike resulting from equally impressive design and engineering. Its the little things that make all the difference. And the majority of things changed from the original 1125's were the need little things. Its cool. But not super cool. No hate here.
