Couple boxes scheduled to show up today....Along with a box that is scheduled to be delivered 2 days ago, but still not here....

Robin, maybe I can come up with an excuse to head up your way to pick up that tail this weekend. Also, Will is trading me the white front faring he got from you. So, it will be 100% your plastics on this bike, and swing arm.

cool, yea no problem...not working this weekend. most all those plastics are the original that go with the frame and swing arm. I still have the front fender and windscreen, both were badly damaged. was thinking of using them as molds and make fiber glass pieces from them.

Obviously didn't make it up your way this past weekend...Maybe this weekend...

It's not that far off now. Just a few more parts to buy, then rebuild the forks, header gaskets, and replace primary cover gasket.

All that's left, and I plan to buy most of it today. Big thing is wheels, I need to find a cheap set to meet my budget.

Forgot to post some pics from the weekend

Painted some stuff and got the suspension on. Decided to not paint the frame or swing arm, I think it will look good and not the typical black everything out look.

Before painting

Primary cover is a bit glossier than I would like, but I used the same paint on mine and it faded a bit after it warmed up.

no worries, coming along nicely...got an ignition? looks like you also need an "R" clutch cable?

Yeah, I actually just posted on Facebook about the cable. The metal end on the housing is too big and wont fit. Not sure if their are differences in those, I thought they were all the same, just different lengths. The cable is just connected at both ends, the clamp isn't bolted in yet. I am pretty sure it is a R cable.

Yeah, got an ignition, gas cap, and key with the engine, but the wires were all spliced and the cap on the back was busted, also the tail I got from you was missing the lock. So, I got a full ignition, gas cap, and seat lock with key for $5.

k, the R cable is different in length and has a metal sleeve that's a couple inches long and goes into the perch. that's a steal for the locks/cap set, wow. I'll be home over the weekend, not planning on working any OT.

coming together nicely...but the front fairing isn't in "good condition", like to see what he would state as "great condition"

I believe he's honest with the used parts he sells, no issue with the fan I bought from him, which looked in excellent condition...the very same one you bought from me.

Thursday I will be getting a SCG suspension for it, and then Friday I should be getting the rest of the parts needed to finish it.
