This weekend I should have it all together minus the header gaskets....Thought I ordered a pair, but got one. The other should be here Monday at the latest. So, if all goes well this weekend, I should be able to ride it Monday night. I bought the parts from you on 6/20 then the frame and engine 7/12. So 2 months total from the first thought of "I'm going to build a bike" Should be up on craigslist next week.

thought you were gonna keep it for a while and put it up for sale next year?

it's ok to admit your other half said no to two motorcycles...:cheerful:

Actually this makes 3 motorcycles....She did say no tonight though, but that was because even with the scg suspension she could barely tippy toe one side. I was hoping She would like this bike and keep it for her to ride with me every once in a while. She was a bit more comfortable on my scg, but she wants something smaller and lighter. Blast it is! She didn't say no to picking one up. So a total of 4 bikes if I pick one up before selling the firebolt.

It's registered till March, so I'll put it up a bit on the high side and take any decent offer that I get by then.

Mrlogix, what can I say, some of us are "gifted"...

She actually liked the from , she saw one at a car show and said that's what she needed. She had a 250 rebel, that we made into a little bobber.

I'll be honest, haven't touched it since. Haven't even been in the garage. Had a bad day Monday, just sat around. Long stressful day at work today (Chinese government is pretty thorough with their audits) followed by Windows 10 updates at home. Go bowling on Wednesdays usually, so maybe Thursday I'll let it idle and build oil pressure and go from there in the engine rock. Then couple more things need to be replaced before it's disable by my standards.

We had to go through an audit by the Chinese a couple of months ago. Ye Haw. How long did the Windows 10 upload take? Been putting it off.

Honestly a few hours. Have to download the instal file, it has to check your system, then it has to check your system, then it has to check your system, then tells you programs that need to be uninstalled, then has to check your system, then you can instal.... I wish it was like good ol xp and just let me do it manually, would take 20 minutes if I could just skip all the checks.
