"There's those that have been down, and those that are goin down" is what my dad always use to say.

Well Bad news guys, one of our fellow Buell riders went down yesterday. Most of you know him as "Kajer" on here.
He was riding to work, and he changed lanes and right when he changed into the other lane, some lady in front of him slams on her brakes. He basically stoppied into the back of her car, went over the car and off to the side where the bike landed on top of him. He sat in the middle of 2 lanes with the bike on to of him for about 5 minutes because no one wanted to move it. Well he had majorly f***ed the freeways so an ambulance couldn't get to him, so he was airlifted out. He has no broken bones, no road rash, and no head injury, but he gut took a good hit. He's in a lot of pain today still in ICU and they are watching for internal bleeding.

I must say though, when a hospital calls you and tell you that a friend was in a motorcycle accident, it's a scary feeling. But the buddy system worked!

Anyway... ride safe guys, and tell your mom you love her!!

Man I hate to hear that. I'll say a prayer for him and keep us informed as much as you can. [sad]

good to hear he was wearing his gear!

wish him all the best, we'll be right here waiting on more news!

Tell him FIDO said to walk it off, just kidding, hope he gets outta ICU soon. I just got to Germany yesterday and the traffic on the autobahn ain't no joke, kinda scary. [up] for gear. [down] for the lady in front of him. Thanks for letting us all know about Kajer.

Yea tell him we are all worried about him and hopes he is ok, tell him to rub some dirt on it. That sucks to hear about Bullers getting hurt, there are not enough of us as it is.

Good news.
He's doin better. He's still on clear liquids but he's sitting in reclining chair now. And he's still heavily drugged so he's in and out a lot. He should go into a regular hospital room tomorrow.

His mom got a look at the bike and she said it didn't look too bad at all. He wants to get back on and ride so we're not minus one on a Buell rider!

Awesome to hear Dave! Here's to a speedy recovery for him.

Thats great. I will have to give him a couple rep points for trying to prevent his bike from hitting the ground by catching it with his body :D.Thats hardcore and a true Bueller, bike first body second [up].

I'm so happy he's gonna be fine soon!
I'm new bike rider with my very first bike and when I hear stories like this one I start to be so afraid to get on a bike and just ride...
