Thinking of a Mean Streak.

I've sold the Max and Bonnie ( keeping the Ss ) and considering a 2006 Kawasaki Mean Streak. Anybody here ridden one? Thanks, Dave.

My father in law has one. He loves it!!!!! Had a shadow before and said the mean streak is 10x better.

I have never rode it..... I did build him a bad ass tail light /turn signal setup!! But I don't think I'll be doing anymore as it was a HUGE pain in the butt!

The mean streak is my favorite cruiser. If I were to get a cruiser that would be the one. Owning Pink Gorilla Cycles I get to try lots of different bikes! The Mean Streak has a lot of power and a smooth revving engine compared to most large displacement cruisers.

I had one, 2002 gold one. It was the fastest crusier I have ever rode. However it is still a cruiser and only puts about 68hp to the rear wheel with a weight of about 650 lbs. It would pull any stock Hog off the light ( except Vrod of course) but thats about all you can pick on. I sold it and a sport bike for the XB12s. That bike is not a real distance cruiser, it is low, stiff, and geared short. Any lightning is more comfotable and faster so to go from a Lightning or Uly to mean streak will disapoint. IMO

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm keeping my 09 xb12Ss, I just want another cruiser. I had a near mint 03 Vmax with low miles and I had to get rid of it due to poor/scarey handling. It was supposed to be my cruiser. That's why asked the forum for their input. You guys Know what a bike that handles feels like.
