I stalled the bike because usually when I come to red lights I slow down enough to shift into neutral (from second) well the neutral light was indicated so I let the clutch out and BAM stalled I guess it wasn't all the way out of a gear because I have an easier time shifting into neutral from second.

tried to start the bike, nothing the engine would just turn and when it half way started and died it sounded as if it had no fire or one cyclinder was firing, I was like "fak" the bike didn't start, so I turned the bike off and then on hoping this would reset the ecm, and whaddaya know the bike acted normal and turned on normally and ran normally.

it just does not like to be stalled...hmph...also i found out this bike does not like to be started in the cold, or when it's uber hot..moody bike..BUT I love it!

Happened to me once. Never trust that light again, go by feel ever since. I try to resist being Neutral unless I feel safe enough with the crazies around.

Never had any problems with starting it cold. It was about 43 out the other day when i went out riding and started up right away.

I too fight the urge to shift into neutral at a stop. Ever hear tires screeching behind you? ;)

I do do it at long lights 'cause I worry about the health of my clutch mechanism, but that's the exception, and I go by feel in addition to the light.

Sometimes its not the users fault. Every once in a while, I'll blip the throttle right before the light turns and it dies.
The only time's my bike hasn't restarted was when I was running the harness upgrade and the fuse blew in the harness upgrade causing my battery to go low while in the city total of 3x.
Also when my stator was going bad x1.

My CR does that occasionally at a light. A small blip on the throttle before clutch release and it dies. It's even it done while coasting...such a small issue that I don't think much of it anymore.

Us 1125 owners have to resist the funness of blipping the throttle cause our throttle bodies are so large when we blip it like that to little and fast the bike doesnt get a good air/fuel mix and then it dies. I thought there was something wrong with my bike till Dean told me about that.

Also i have learned to NEVER trust any neutral light on a bike. So i always let out slowly when i see the light on.
