Thoughts on this prototype helmet

Its called the project 46. It is being designed by valentino rossi and agv to be more areo-dynamic and have a way bigger field of vision. The best description I have read about the visual field is its like looking at a massive flat screen with your nose pressed up against it. Not to mention its looks mean as ****/weird as **** all at the same time. I want one, just wanna know what your guys think.

Looks cool. Not extreme by any means. In the grand scheme of things, the helmet has very little to do with terminal aerodynamics. The "open cockpit" on the bike and rider in the "dead space" are the biggest limitations on motorcycle aerodynamics.

Ya its more for stability and easing the wind strain on your neck. That would be some what useless for me considering I have seriously long dreads normally balled up behind my lid. Id picture its more than the gptech which is $675 for one with graphics. I know I just bought the simoncelli one. Price is steep!

Rossi just needs something to blame for his poor riding last year or whatever he can get to help him next year, can look at it either way.

he got ducati to totally redesign the gp12 and now.he got agv to totally redesign the helmet, hopefully fruit of the loom gets his prototype boxers to him by the first race. I am a huge rossi fan but with that timing it hard not to laugh.

Why haven't any other helmet comps.tried this before?I do think it looks tough[cool]And for Rossi not a fan of him hes to arrogant for me,but I guess that's what happens when yo win a few races.
