Trouble codes 24,25

I had this same problem. In the end I bought a new ecm that fixed it. The trouble shooting guide for those codes end with that as the fix even.

Yeah I've been hoping I could find a short or something or maybe even a bad O2 that's why I put that post out.... I'm leaning toward ECM but lord I hope that isn't it since it's pricey and I'm still not certain..

I really appreciate the offer but I'm clear in Shelby about the same distance from Charlotte as you just on the other side.... If it wasn't burning so lean if ride up and see my daughter at nc state and take you up on the offer.

Well I'll still let you have the ECM if you want. PM me your address and I'll send it to ya this Friday. It's the least I could do for a fellow Bueller... Oh crap... I'm getting ahead of myself... Your bikes a 9, mines an 07 12r. I don't think my stock ECM will help you at all. Sorry

My light was intermittent/random just like that. Ran great other than the light. I ended up finding one here on the forum or eBay I can't remember. I lucked out finding someone selling a new one they had for a while. Even a used one would be an option.

I'm gonna try the o2 sensor this weekend if doesn't work it's either take a day off and take it to Tilley's or try and find a ECM........

If I'm understanding the ecmspy stuff couldn't I even use a stock ECM and just load the maps from my race ECM onto it and it would basically be the same?

Put the O2 sensor in and it basically fixed nothing..... Wast expectig it to to be honest. The bike has 25k and the sensor was cheap enough at Oriellys it was no big deal......

I'm really starting to get frustrated And this one is starting to remind me why I got rid of my X1 tho.... I've put 10k miles on it in a year and it's had to have a voltage reg... A few months later a stator, side stand switch, oil leak at from oil cooler....... And now I've been chasing this damn shirt or whatever for over a month........hell I've had the wiring harness completely out of the bike and can't find anything.........

Loaded up and going to tilley's Monday..... Cause quite honestly the only thing I know to do next is put a new ECM on it. My luck that won't be the problem either tho and I'll be out at least a couple hundred bucks......

I'm telling you its the ecm. I've been through this. Check the troubleshooting guide I posted.

I'm searching the net for one now kona, you're prob right I'm just hesitant to drop that much coin....... Since I've started working on this current problem I've replaced all kinds of stuff just because I had the bike apart as hopefully a sort of preventative maint........ I'll just add the O2 to that list. One thing is for sure. If I find an ECM and that fixes it everything else will be practically brand new except the engine hahaha.....

Ok, so I found a used ECM and put it in the bike. It wasn't a race ECM like I took out but I fired it up and let it run for approx 10 mins and no engine light. So I shut it off and hooked up ECM spy and burned the race maps to it , set the tps and went for a short ride. So far no backfiring on decel and no engine light..... I'm hoping this fixed the problem. Should find out for sure tomorrow on my commute to work which is 30 mile each way.
