brightbuell i love my bike completely. and no i dont really ride with guys that top speed is everything just squids flying by me pisses me off. yes i am young but i appreciate what my xb9 is good at in every sense. i just went and carved some corners at 90+ speed and loved every second of flicking it back and forth through lefts and rights. i just want more. i cant help that i have an addiction to goin fast. yes i would fly down the road but when cops were not there. just want a bike that offers slightly more. and trying to find a way to make the bike i Love do that. just saying guys. not anything bad but a strong itch that i just want to scratch. and for individuality my roomate on his cbr 600rr doesnt get any attention when riding with me. so i like.

Speed and Power is never a bad thing. hehe

and im a 20 year old college student so i cant really have both bikes right now. unfortunately

Im in the same boat Tyler. I love my bike but sometimes i wish i could afford another for different styles of riding.

at the beginning of this all i said is i want to spank the 600cc bikes. i know the 1125 wont run with the bigger bikes. im actually a fairly inteligent individual. just sayin. but well see what ill do. maybe i get and 1125 maybe not. ive found one right now thats not a bad deal so who knows

not tryna bash buells cause yes i love mines but like delta one said at what cost would u go to make it try to keep up with a jap bike ,hell my supermoto will beat the or my buell to 100mph and its only a 510cc
but its two different things ,cant compare apples to oranges

ps ive never seen a modded civic lose to a modded sti theres never been a 180mph sti in the 1/4 mile yet ,i have part ownership in a 820 hp civic i wish we could get a sti to step up that would be easy money and no i dont hav 25,000 in upgrades only about 15,000 but i guess we all hav our opinions

that's ok I said 15k in upgrades

spend 15k adding to a 25k civic

ps the 25k was an approximation for a new or newer civic (because typically you do need to buy the car too)

either way my hypothetical example was upsetting so I apologize and retract

but because I'm an ass I'll still add some fuel to the fire anyway
I'll replace sti with EVO and pick a 1/4 mile car (I rarely think drag and know little about it so this is a different ball game for me)

wait u said sti lol yes i no about the evo as i am the driver of my lil bros soon to be 9 sec evo
and very big into hp cars rather it be 4 6 8 cylinders i dont care

but keep in mind as i am speaking from experience awd
wont make the mhp a front wheel drive will
theres plenty of low 9 sec street civics around me and they will run very close to the mph that that full out race car just ran you posted

9 sec was fast 20 years ago now its just another street car.7 sec is the new 9 and 9 is what 11 used to be.

Let's add some FUEL! OK I agree that It is not the most practical thing to do, make a Buell as fast or faster than MOST Jap bike on the street from 0 to 120 MPH but it can be done. The Buell is what I like and I like that fact that it is AMERICAN MADE! Now we got into JAP CARS and how they are fast for the money??? You guys spend WAY TOO MUCH money to make these cars fast just like I will with the Buell. If you took the same money and put it into a RWD V8 car it was spank the Jap car you are trying to make fast. Also unless the car is AWD or RWD it will NEVER put down an ET like a V8 RWD car will. Again comparing apples to oranges, just my .02 from a guy that likes to go fast with AMERICAN stuff, no rice needed!

Are u talking about the XB's running with the 600 class?

I have a 1125R and have no troubles keeping up and or coming around the liter bikes I ride with.

yeah 9s is yesterdays news but i was saying that to say so many 9s sec 4 cylinders riding aroung the street ,and this is not about american vs jap, anybody who races for real no's that ,and to say that rwd makes the mph that a fwd does ,na your wrong about that awd and rwd tend to run the same they depend on there rt n 60 ft to run low et's

ive seen tens of thousands be lost in secs
people shot, n crowds of people ran over trying to escape from getting shot at street races ,n yes american muscle lose to ricers as well as give ricers the business,

this is my 505 hp 486ft lb american muscle srt 4
trust me i have a lot of blood sweat n tears in racing.
what ive noticed over the time is that the people who spu hate on something just cause its not there own tend to have never spent any real money in anything i have a lil under 50,000 in this ,and this would b considered a good grocery getter or something like that

I would have to agree with u their. But hp isnt everything, their are people bringing 1000+ hp to the street all the time now but they cant get it to the ground. If u have 505hp and can get it to the ground u are probably going to beat the guy/gal with the 1000 hp car.

How could you never have seen a modded WRX beat a modded civic? 99% of modded civics lose to a stock WRX. They're FWD commuter cars, in no way shape or form designed to be performance machines. It sounds like you're comparing the fastest to the fastest, only. That doesn't make sense in the thread context.

like i said there not faster n im not just talkin about race cars ,sti's are just every hs kids dreams until they realize how fast they fall apart with there weak drivetrains,really fast sti's are rare thats probably y delta one quickly posted a vid of a evo cant find to many sti's..... tho i no there out there
