Turn key nothing happens

I recently tried starting my 04 xb12r turned the key and nothing happened. I have tested all the fuse's with a multi-meter and they are all fine. What should i check next???

This happened to me the other day. I disconnected the battery for a few seconds and then re connected it and it worked. But my clutch cable broke a mile and a half down the road. Ha

Do you get the dash lights, fuel pump whine, headlights, anything? Need more info...

Check your relays. I melted one and it behaved exactly as you describe. $10 fix if its the cause.

no dash lights, fuel pump whine, headlights nothing i will have to check the relays.

Kill switch on handle bars?? I've done that...

Pretty straight forward: nothing means nothing.

Either you have a dead battery or the connection is gone.

Could be the ignition wiring has come loose or lost contact. Common issue.

Are you getting +12v across the battery fuse terminals (30 amp)? If not, check your grounds and batt. If so, then relays and on up the circuit. PM me if you want to 'borrow' my Elec Diagnostic manual.
