I washed my 08 Buell Firebolt and took iy for a quick ride. After i got back I noticed the signals weren't working and the green arrows wouldn't show up on the speedometer either?? I checked the wiring and noticed that there was a small box that was broken that connects to a sensor of some sort. It says something 'flasher' on the back, is that the problem?? I tried blow driying it but that didn't help. Just got the bike so any help would be appreciated! Thanks

take a blow gun hooked to an air compressor and blow into the turn signal controls and give it a good day to dry out.. I have had this happen after riding home in the poaring rain... good luck

Another easy fix you say your turn signal stopped working after you washed it, just get the bike dirty again! JK[up]

I dried the flasher and it still continued to happen. Sooo i checked all my fuses and of course one was blown. Replaced it and all good again :) THANKS!

itzame: pick up a small can of electrical connector/switch anti-corrosion spray. places like radio shack have it. follow directions on container and 1X per year spray a small amount into the left and right handlebar control switch areas. an excellent preventive maintenance procedure.
