Are you sure you're leaking from the inspection cover? The pic's look like the shift shaft seal is gone. As for the white stuff, looks like water in the primary. Others can describe this better than me as to how it happens, something with the clutch cable. Wayne
 
it deff came down from the inspection cover, i will keep an eye on the shift shaft seal though.

no its not jizz, didnt mean to make you thirsty though, hahaha....jk

am i good to clean it out and change the oil again? im thinking i will drain it and then and refill it while watching the level through the clutch inspection cover, good idea or waste of time and money?
 
White stuff can be condensation or water coming in through the clutch cable adj. boot on the right side of the bike. Lots of people put grease around the opening and it stops the water from getting in through there.

Drain it the best you can and throw in 1 qt. - no need to check. It comes out right on my bike everytime.

Correct! The thick white is from the chemical reaction that occurs when water and oil are heated together. Like others mentioned the clutch cable is most likely your entrance for the water. Put some marine grease up by the rubber necking. And definitely get both gaskets for the inspection covers.
How to check the primary level: with the bike level the oil should just be touching the bottom of the clutch plates.

awesome, i went and looked and its kinda hard to tell but i think i am good as far as oil level goes. to dumb it down, oil needs to be touching the big circular plate inside the clutch inspection that is like an inch below the cable? i just rechecked the manual and it looks like it shows the oil should almost be all the way up to the cable. i think i will just go get another qt and drain the hole thing rather and trying to top it off.

No, the Clutch cable adjustment boot (#1) - it covers the adjustment you see below. Grease around the top "rim" of the boot or zip tie if you like. Just be aware of it when washing the bike. It runs along the front of the engine, RH side if sitting on the bike. ;)

that you, i will throw some grease there today.

i changed the primary oil yesterday and rode for about 50 miles yesterday, didnt see any issues yet, i will keep an eye on it though.

i removed the pads and cleaned the rotors very well and no difference. i took it to a shop and the guy took a look at it and test rode it and said it most likely is the floaters so i went ahead and ordered them and will put them on when they come in. i will let you how what happens.

i got a price on a galfer front rotor for 275, i was kinda disapointed that the rotor doesnt seem to be the issue because even though i am super poor that rotor would have looked sick...haha.
 
UPDATE
front rotor is fixed, i replaced all the mounting hardwear and it works perfect now.

as far as the leak, it didnt leak for about 100-200 miles. finally took it out and got some good lean angles about a week ago, and now today, i noticed its leaking out of the same place. is it possible its overfilled and just leaking out? it has a new gasket so that should be the issue. thanks again in advance
 
Try to check if the mating surface on th inspection cover is absolutely flat! That part might not be seating properly.
 
what is the mating surface? i will check to make sure its on good gain though. thanks

i have some weeping coming from mine too.
I think I will get some some black or clear silicone gasket sealer.that should seal it. i have changed the gaskets a couple times and checked the surfaces and torqued the bolts correctly . everything looks good. so I'm just going to dab some sealer on it . Im sure this will that take care of it,
 
Most silicones, with the exception of threebond 1231, are attacked by petroleum products. Use Pernatex #2. It's a non~hardening liquid gasket that'll seal your butt to an oak tree. The other thing is that the Buell tranny loves thicker gearlube. I use AMSoil 80w95, and it shifts better, protects the mechanicals better, and does NOT cause the clutch to drag. And if ya wanna get all technical about it, thicker lube doesn't want to flow through small crevices like motor oil. It is true that it'll cause a negligable increase in power loss through the tranny. I guess that means I could lose a drag race with a Gixxer1000.

Are you using Amsoil 80w95 in the primary case? I am using amsoil 20w50 in the engine and the primary. I am not sure if I should use thicker oil in the primary because I will be starting the bike in 40 and 50 degree weather in the mornings all spring. Do you think 80w95 would work better even at lower temps?
