Its been a hot minute since I have had anything to put on my bike since my list of parts till I have completed everything is dwindling to almost nothing... buuuuut after over three years of patient waiting I have finally gotten one of my most important pieces...a Micron exhaust.. for a whopping 300 dollars ;) Enjoy yourselves.... Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I have to say the seat is my favorite part though. Really worked out good man, job well done. I'm curious to see what the bike looked like with the r1 fairings if you have any pics I'd like to see while you worked that out.

VERY NICE BUILD!! I'm glad you got the seat done like the mockup picture! I really like that!

Micron for $300!? Nice find!! I paid $1k for mine, but it was also brand new and had never been on a bike. I got it and all the clamps/hardware ceramic coated black. Just got it put on last weekend with a lot of help from wolfo68. Still don't have the bike tuned yet so I haven't been able to take it for a spin. Sounds GREAT though from starting it and listening to it idle and some light revs!!

Good looking bike man! Great work! [up]

I think I have a picture of it with the r1 fairings on it somewhere around here. I'll see if I can find it and put it up. I'm actually working something else though with some CBR fairings ;)

Sweet man. I had a set of 03 r6 fairings I was going to rig up but a guy made me an offer I couldn't refuse for them, so I don't have them anymore. Wish I would've kept them [down]

Yeah chin fairing is in the works.. Just waiting on the brackets from drummer.. And the micron was on Ebay and the guy was only selling the headers.. He said he had the muffler but it needed work.. I offered him 300 for everything and all I had to do was a bit of welding.. Easy fix lol

Normally the micron does come with mounting points but the previous owner had taken them off because he felt it looked better without the chin fairing.. A normal Micron will work with the chin fairing though.

I got mine new for $400 from local craigslist. The guys brother passed away so he was selling his bike and including the exhaust on side. Made and offer and got lucky. Drove 2.5 hours to get it.

Sick bike.

Inspired me to do a similar undertail.

Where is the fuse box and the CPU ???

I have managed to cram mine in next to the battery, but TAC has the rear brake res on one side and the rear shock tank on the other. dont see where the electrical stuff is.

What type of ballistic battery is that?
have you had any electrical issues because of it or is everything as smooth as ever?

I finally made the brackets and spacers for the fairings I had in mind. They have only been rattle canned for now but if they hold up fine I will be taking them to get painted. I think they fit pretty nicely on the bike without covering up too much. On a side note.. the micron exhaust is awesome....buuut for some reason one of the headers keeps pulling out of the exhaust. I can always tell because the bike gets ridiculously loud out of nowhere and peoples heads turn more than usual lol... Any idea why this is happening or how to keep the header from working its way out of the exhaust? Thanks everyone..

And for what you all really care about..
