Installed LED taillight/stoplight bulb behind my smoke lens. I had a couple of extra LED bulbs I removed from another bike laying around from when I changed over to an aftermarket integrated LED taillight fixture on that bike. Much brighter than a standard bulb! Highly recommended upgrade to the stock taillight fixture! The bulbs don't cost much. I plan on going to a custom made integrated taillight fixture for the Buell, but until then, this is a much more visible, much safer bulb.
I don't have a pic of the standard bulb lit, but here is the LED taillight lit:
Here is the LED stop light lit:
I have a number of other upgrades - have the parts and everything - I just need to find the time to install. Frame pucks, cruise control, hidden rear brake caliper mod (new gold Brembo caliper, caliper bracket and brake line kit from ASB), black anodized catch can, etc.
Bike started throwing an O2 Sensor code the other day so today I replaced the O2 Sensor and went ahead and threw in some new NGK plugs and to finish her up I did the breather reroute. I must say my baby seems to like the attention because she's purring like a dream now.
Picked her up and rode her to her new home today. Promptly removed the reflectors, installed my battery tender quick-disconnect, and started making a list of tools I need. Hopefully it will be a tiny bit warmer this weekend and I can get the warning stickers removed, and passenger peg mounts removed. And if I'm feeling healthy I might actually start work on the tail chop.
Set to shopping while I tried to thaw out from the ride:
Low seat
Pazzo-style shorty levers
Smaller/cleaner LED signals front and rear (though already planning handguard LED's and a LED strip in the rear)
ordered new top end gasket kit, paint for windscreen, and new front brake master cylinder/lever setup to replace "the block" as I call the stock setup, the New Year is working for me so far
