Got my black rear shock in the mail for my 12. . looked at it
put the cams back in my 9, aligned the timing and sealed it up. then i put the cylinders & pistons on

Got the crank in, case halves sealed, new valve guid seals, lapped valves.

New Michelin PP 2ct front tire with Dyna beads and new wheel bearings. I used Allballs and couldn't detect any markings to indicate which side was in or out. Hope it doesn't matter or the first time will be just for practice.

The owner of the shop that mounted the tire was curious why I didn't want them to balance it and when I told them I was gonna use Dyna beads he was skeptical. I thought it was odd that he'd never even heard of them.

Most people are skeptical until they're used them themselves. I've found that (most) shop guys like doing things that are "tried and true" (ie sticky weights). I've been riding on Dynabeads for a few years now and have zero complaints!

I just put new shorty levers on. Then I shed a tear as I looked at about 50 meters of snow between the end of my driveway and the main road... But summer is close! Can't wait to try out these new levers..

Got all of my motor done other than the front cylinder, the box of new lifters I had only had three in the box so I need one more. Its ready to go back in the bike after that.

looks good nemo. what paint did you you use on your cases cylinders and heads?

I used Harley texture black its pricy at $25 a can but it matches the OEM stuff perfect. I have used it many times, its a great paint. I did it last year when I split the cases to replace the 5th gear main shaft needle bearings.
