This weekend I
- changed oil
- Added to my "role call" on my chin fairing
- Replaced the peeling vinyl patch on my forks
- Mounted and adjusted my mirrors
- Cleaned her up a bit
- And took it for a short ride - Really diggin' the new Bell RS-1! [up]
Finished putting it back together after fork seal, fork spring upgrade, Rider Comfort Kit addition, new tires, new brakes, Jardine with the Quiet insert, new plugs, new K&N, engine and primary oil change, Adjust clutch and primary chain, new grips, new taller windscreen and added race fuel and timing maps and turned off the exhaust valve. Then rode it 100 miles to shake it all out before the rain came in. I can say that the tune seems spot on and it got rid of all the quirky stumbles and surges it had stock. Jardine with insert isn't very loud, but much better than stock and I got rid of the ugly BBQ grill muffler and all its weight. No pics because, well, I wanted to RIDE it til it got dark!
orderd a new taillight from XB Lights, put on CRG levers, pulled off licence plate off as it has a bad tear an is about to fall off and prayed for rain to wash all the damn salt dust and sand off the roads so riding season can begin
Worked on my exhaust some after work still waiting on my stainless UJ bend. But I got the muffler cut about down to the size I need. Gotta make the rear mount still, but its looking good... Its got a 2.5in baffle (getting stainless packing), the outer can is 3in on one end and 4in with the tip. its gonna be on the loud side I think.
