What did you do for your Buell today?

went for a little ride, met with kbfnail and checked out his new Duc, discovered a little oil leak on the bike which turned out to be the forward most push rod tube o-ring is leaking[sad], on the bright side he hooked me up with two brand new Wix oil filters:D[up]

looks like 20 bucks in gaskets and o-rings will be needed to fix the problem

Changed the oil and primary with Mobile 1. Man I love working on this bike. Even a non-mechanical guy like me can get it done.

I had a dang blow out on my rear tire. A chunk about the size of a quarter was missing, when I finally got the squirrelly beast on the shoulder.

Creepy.

Changed rear rocker gaskets with my brother and replaced my burnt out cooling fan. Did some other tiny cleanup or things while i was in there.

Changed the oil and filter. Nothing major. Had to drill out one of the screws in the primary though...

Made an easy oil change go a bit longer than I wanted. Need to get some new screws in the morning, going to replace with better quality ones.

Nothing big, just made my own led tail light finally!

got her running and put about 900 miles in the past week or so.. new tank bag and LED tail/brake lights..

next will be saddle bags and better seat in the future.

Installed HMF slip on exhaust with the Erik Buell race only ECM. Need to reset her before riding her. Did start her up. She is loud. LMBO!!! Now I have to do something with these mirrors.

After staring at her in the garage for a month, I finally got my motorcycle endorsement. That same day (yesterday) I woke her up @ 9am and finally tucked her in 100 miles later @ 9pm.

Today I went on a two hour ride, my first ride out of town, and she welcomed me to motorcycle ownership by losing the screw between my shifter and the linkage an hour from home.

Luckily, my friend came back for me and we were able to patch it up with a keyring.

TPS reset with cable I finally purchased this week. My previous adventures with ecmspy were thanks to lunaticfringe(aka John) and his generosity in letting me borrow his cable.

Just make sure you don't pull a GoDuc and never return it, lol.

Got myself a replacement neutral switch from www.surdyke.com in the mail today took about 10 days to get it and cost around $18. Took me a whole 10 minutes to take the old one out and slap the new one in now MY NEUTRAL LIGHT WORKS AGAIN!!! Love it THANKS surdyke.com.

reassembled the freshly coated 1125 forks, reassembled the front end, xb9 gearing installed and other small stuff. didn't touch the firebolt. my friend traded his 675 for a firebolt and I have changed his primary gasket fixed his headlights and tail lights, put the forks back where they are suppose to be, installed an mia velocity stack, redid the breather reroute, wrapped headers.

bought some shorty levers from MadHornets, already in the mail...just waiting for 'em. also got a Black Widow helmet shelf for the nugget protector, gloves and jacket to keep the gear together in the garage, yeap...waiting for that too:p
