What did you do for your Buell today?

I did this Aussie breather reroute set up not long after getting my 07 12XB SS, I have only put about 400 miles on it since then, I know, not very much but, I checked the air filter yesterday and with the exception of a small amount of oil film around the base of the rubber intake, there is nothing ! Also the paper air filter was totally dry.
I'll probably do it to my Ully next.

That's why I'm posting it up, I don't know if it will make any difference but, if that much oil was being sucked in, I would think it would leave more of a sign, especially in the intake, nothing, clean as a whistle !

I did the same mod on one of mine with the thought of less oil being sucked in and settling on the air cleaner base. And then wipe it away. Like I said the with the thought. don't really know long term sold the bike. :black_eyed:

I went Keyless Gas cap. Keyless1.jpg

You didn't have to correct your original post.

I've been thinking about going with one of those gas caps, since I'm planning on going keyless ignition. Just need to find the cheapest, and simplest, way to make it work.

Who's the manufacturer of the gas cap?

I like the S shape in the center and they have a anti vacuum tube .

But any way What is in your mind? For your paint theme ? If I can pry ?

You gotta crop those toes out of the pic , please LOL

I suppose the obvious question is whether or not the inexpensive version comes with the hardware needed to mount the cap?

Yeah - no ACE here...but we do have a smaller hardware store with individual fasteners.

What size/length are those bolts, just for information's sake?

Put my updated dash back on, EBR got it one day and updated and sent it back to me the next day. Bam ! service

Cool....looks like 1 1/8 long...if I go that route I'll pull a fastener and take it in. Not sure the lengths are the same given the position of the bolt "plate" on the keyless versions, but won't be hard to figure out.

Cheers...

New back tire...

Love the Conti-Sport Attacks, but they only last ~3000 miles (if I am nice). Of course some of that is my fault. The harder the pull, the bigger the grin. Got the front tire off the ground a couple times tho.

Wrapped some stuff in vinyl, carbon and grey and did some led mods. one led in each air scoop, one ring above the shock and installing the red angel eyes as we speak. Cleaning stuff as I take it apart.
