I finally took a couple pics of it after I traded for it a couple weeks back. Then a little cleaning and halfway polished the header pipes.

I didn't like my options for a swing arm protector so I worked on a custom guard using some some high impact plastic sheets. Pretty rudimentary right now, but ordered a couple more sheets to dial it in. Basically created a template to build on.

Debadged the 12R today, only left the the emblems on the air box cover but I'd love to remove those as well, just can't figure out how... Plan on changing the plugs tomorrow, gonna go with NGK.

Plus much more to come later... Waiting on my KEDA pipe and my SS swingarm...

installed new dashboard from the giveaway hosted by freak[up] post pics when my laptop gets fixed...won't power up at all[sad]

Added some stickers to the tank that I ordered off ebay. The flames look really good in person. I also removed my cheese grater as part of my Tail Tidy! I found a good spot for the xb12ss emblem!

Replaced oil lines, put on my SS Swing arm, new chain, and found out the primary cover I bought and powder coated has stripped threads where the clutch cable is received into the primary cover [mad]

So back to powder coater with my primary cover I pulled off yesterday.

Pushed her out of the way to be able to back my Hayabusa out of the garage, which I have had for 11 years but have not been riding so much since I got my 'Bolt. Went for about a 2 hour ride. It was like getting back with an old friend you haven't seen in some time - getting reaquainted with one another for the first little while. Two completely different bikes. And I enjoy them both. The 'Busa with its seemingly limitless power and effortless accelleration. And the Buell - well - you know... they are my two girlfriends that I am equally fond of, each of them for two different sets of reasons, characters and lists of qualities.
