What is the best way to turn off the seat heater?

You got the 'large'? Get out there and ride it you sissy! I'm really interested in your opinion:)

The hot seat hasn't been what's kept me from riding. Between lots of rain, grandkids, work, mowing grass and new grandkid there hasn't been much time to ride. I've decided to pass on going to Mid-Ohio this weekend so that should give me some time to go for a loop.

Yep, I got the large & it seemed to fit OK on the stock seat. It wasn't any too big so I could see the need for an XL on anything bigger.

I rode for about 2 hours yesterday. Temps about 85 or so. I think the combination of all of the stuff has made a positive difference.

The summer after that picture as taken we decided to see if I could pull a friend of mine across his pond on a kneeboard. His dad took a video of it. After I pulled him across the pond I let him get on my sled and ride it across..........

This was quite a few years ago as all of the little kids in the video now have kids of their own.

I rode a little under 250 miles this weekend including a stop and go trip through parts of Columbus. The mods all seemed to help tremendously. My son and I rode down to The Throttle Company for their vintage bike show. Besides my Lightning there was a XB12X & a nice S3T there.

On my way home from a loop yesterday evening the temps were in the upper 60's. I see what Camouflage ment about "increased personal cooling" with the mesh seat cover when the temperatures dropped. Last night was also the first time I came home from a ride & the cooling fan didn't kick on.

Yeah it's a bit strange at first but if you hold your legs tight to the frame it lessens the effect if it gets a bit too cool. Really glad you are able to ride for longer now, it makes such a difference to a ride when you are comfortable. :)

Is the seat cover slick? Seems like you'd move around a bit on it.

I'm kinda digging' the weird FDE color and vents on the airbox cover. Interesting look, I like it:angel:

Thanks, Cooter :eagerness:

I fitted the belly pan at the weekend.

Just for grins here what lives under my airbox cover.

People have strong pineapple-on-pizza opinions about the chin fairing. I could go either way. Looks good in a matching color:eagerness: I think I'll get that seat cover just to check it out, maybe pack it with me if the temps go up? Planning a PCH ride to Mumzy's in a few.

Cooter is a bit strange at first

It's easier if you just lay back;)

Finally rode Ohio 555 this past Saturday. The ironic thing is I waited until it was in the 50's to do it. I ended up putting the low seat back on and was very happy to have a heated seat....
