Thanks 1stxb9r!

It was an auto when I bought it (along with being white w/ a red interior, turbine wheels etc.) but I converted it to a 5 speed using a 93 T5. Not much done otherwise to the drive-train other than the basics...3:73, headers, flowmasters, h-pipe...

50dro you still running 4 lug or upgraded to the 5? how much boost you running in that VW?
Hey Jimmydean nice Powerstoke how much boost you running? have you lost any power with the bio conversion?

1stxb9r:

Still running the stock 4 lug brake set-up. The wheels are true '93 Cobra wheels that I had chrome plated. Someday when I have $5k to put into it (which may never happen [sad] )I'd like to convert it to 5 lug/ 4 wheel disk and get some different wheels.

No boost on the VW. It's a VR6 and is all stock other than the Neuspeed springs I just put on there. It's my daily driver. I actually sold the wheels that are on it in the pic. I'd like to find some 17" OEM wheels that I can run year around though.

Just traded in the Harley F150 this weekend for my new toy... a teal toaster.
08 Scion xB. Lowered, rims, tint, more than 14 mpg... doesnt match the bike though

After the near disaster of loading/unloading my bikes into the F350 last weekend, I might be trading it in. I just found out this morning that Ride Tech makes a bolt in (sort of) kit for the F350. I miss my bagged truck and the idea of having a bagged 1 Ton rolling 7.3l turbo on biodiesel might be too much to pass up.

Thanks Steve get to the camp and sleep in 5 min.
I will find some links and post it common in South Africa dont know about over there in the USA. This one is echo 4x4 but you get many diffrent ones. Search for "roof top tents" Let me know if you find some in USA. [email protected] sorry to post in this thred dont know how to PM some one.Cheers Morne

sorry xtremelow i dig lowered truck but I like horsepower more :D. If im correct thats a Duramax, with the cost of the bag set up they could have spent the money on engine performance parts and push 700 hp and 1000 lbs of torque. Dont have to worry about the tranny either its an Allisons made in good old Indiana along with the Cummins!! [smirk]

Jimmy Bag It, big haulers look so sweet slammed.

I intend to! I had my '69 C10 on Slam Specialties bags with 8 valves. The Ride Tech stuff is expensive, but it's near bolt in, too vs. the work I had to do on the C10.

I will also be doing a few performance tweaks as well, just so you know. I keep finding 6.0l and I know those engines are junk compared to the 7.3l. So I am still in the market.

ya jimmy don't but a 6 liter. They starve themselves for fuel and have bad sensors, JUST BUY A CUMMINS!;)

JUST BUY A CUMMINS!

After the pain and expense I helped a friend go through when his lift pump died, no thanks. Went with a performance lift pump, performance injection pump, then a week after getting it to run, the TPS died. He spent nearly $3k just getting it running again.

Plus I don't care for the body lines. I'd love a Duramax, but can't afford one.

Jimmy, I didn't say you had to just bag it, put a tuner in it too, hell double stack the tuners and run n2o and propane and you will be all set.

I will do the same setup I planned for my 4x4. The 7.3 doesn't need much. 3" exhaust, intake system, and programmer gets about 100hp or more alone. I won't lay frame, but I'll get it down for sure.

Not to thread hijack, but if you like bag setups, look at the Porterbuilt Streetrods Dropmemberfor 63-87 chevy trucks. Converts the front to rack steering and will lay out without z-ing the frame. Sick setup with optional Corvette suspension option.
