I have a 1988 RX-7 GTU. It's the 1st year GTU, so it's not the crappy base 1989 model.

It's pretty much a turbo car without the turbo. Turbo gearing, turbo suspension, LSD, etc. There are no luxuries on the car except a sunroof, for weight savings. This first year GTU was a commemorative to the racing version. If only they'd put a turbo in it.

Anyways, the stock 13B finally went kaput after 200k miles. I've got two spares that I'm rebuilding into one. It's also getting a nice porting job. Hope to have it back on the road soon.

No pics right now.

I started to blend in about 2 gallons of clean filtered used vegitable oil and am at almost 600 miles with a little less than a 1/4 tank left.

I thought that nobody drove diesels over there, guess I was wrong, haha! Is it the 1.9 turbo diesel? Diesel rules this earth when it comes to fuel economy, even better than hybrids some times. And torquey too!

Are you really mixing fuell and oil together? This might be bad for the engine, especially if there is a particle collector "catalyst" on the car. Are you sure the oil mixes with the gas and does not go to the top of the tank, so that after a while you'll have only used vegetable oil in there?

yea i dont think its a great idea to mix in straight vegetable oil. its easy enough to make or just buy biodiesel from vegetable oil though. most manufactures state that you can run a blend of B5 safely even with the new after treatment systems. This may be increased soon. the 2002 tdi will run B100 no problem though. SVO can clog your fuel system.

the glycerin needs to be removed from the vegetable oil. biodiesel = vegetable oil - glycerin

Its getting harder to find the older tdi's for a decent price now but if you look hard enough you can find some deals. It is a 1.9

I pre-mixed in a 5gal container and let it sit for a few days to see if there was any seperation and there wasn't so i added it to the tank. But i will not continue to do this i was just seeing how it would work. Once i get settled back down from my move then i want to start producing bio once i find a good source for oil.

Right now there are no B100 sources within at least a 250 mile radius of where i live, the only thing around here is B5 and sometimes find a station with B10. Plus B100 would be way too expensive to purchase outright so that's why im looking at making it in the future.

I roll a 99 Lumina with 240k on the clock in the winter. In the spring/summer/fall, the car sits long enough to get flat tires and a dead battery. This season the Buell will get a stablemate. Big ol' Suzuki tard.

Well shit, I thought I posted in this thread, but I guess not, so here goes...

The newest addition to my ever-growing lot, an '06 LBZ, 33 inch mud terrains, superchips tuner, straight piped (I am told) Despite its size, this truck will get up and move. When these tires wear out, I'll go back to the stock tires and lower it.

'86 Fiero, 4 speed powered by 3800sc. It's like driving a street legal go kart. Lots of power and very fun to drive. First thing I id was swap those wheels with the wheels on my other Fiero.

The other Fiero, '86 also, but with the stock 2.8 and auto. The motor is bad, so while looking for another motor I found the other car. Now I have a car needing a motor, and I have a core 3800sc and a complete 3800na in my garage, but no room to do the work right now.

'99 Z-71, nothing special. I needed a truck, so I bought this. Since it's paid for, I have no need to sell it. The ZJ on the other side used to be mine also.

The 70-something Scout, uninsured and unregistered. Used to be a DD. It's got a SOA, GM TBI, and 33s with beadlocks, but it just sits right now.

Mac, my f100 was t-boned at about 70 mph by a Nissan pathfinder.

VW has factory air suspension, pictures were at two different settings.

Sirius, Yeppers, same name on ClubT.

Nothing fancy here, 94 Jeep Cherokee 260,000 gets me from A to B on non-Buell days. Also hauls kayaks and a trailer for the Buell.

Feel i got something to put on here finally. Just bought it. 2004 Audi A4 quattro 1.8t. Love it! never drove anything like it. No mods yet but like the bike, they will never be done.
