So I am working on making a custom fiberglass/metal cheese grator eliminator. It will look similar to Urban_Assult's tail (he inspired me). I am also looking at getting a Hawk exhaust, and I have heard he will chop the tail piece for free.

So I started wondering; if I were going to sell my tail piece, which is worth more? Stock, or chopped?
(no wiring or lights, it looks like a new stock one will be about 150 bucks)

What do you guys think?

It is worth more but shipping cost more. I would say a stock piece is worth $100 and a cut one may be worth $90, but that is to only the right person. You may find some one wanting a chopped tail piece that doesn't have the tools so they would pay an extra $20, plus shipping is probably $5-$10 more since it take up more space for shipping.

I agree with extremelow on this. I would say the right buyer would be willing to pay more because they either can't or don't want to cut it themselves.

Thanks for the input! I am not even sure if I will sell it, unless the price is really great. I will think about it again after I finish making my new tail piece.

i cut the cheese and put it here...
