1965 Shelby 427 Cobra. This was the first car I truly was blown away by and will remain on my "dream list" forever. The fact that it is STILL a force to be recond with 46 years after it was made is a testiment to just how amazing of a car this was. Too bad clean original ones have been known to bring in $1M! [sad]
Other honorable mentions:
-Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggara. The howl that comes out of the back of this car makes the hairs on my arm stand up and it is drop dead georgous!.
-Ford GT. That style with that sound, man what a package! The twin turbo ones being built (aftermarket) are mind blowing. 1000+whp on a stock bottom end is IMPRESSIVE.
More realistically:
-Suburu Impreza STI: I have to admit, I'm a secret scooby fan.

It just seems like the perfect "all season" sportscar for here in the the midwest. I bet it's an absolute hoot on a snow covered road. *evil grin*
-2012 Mustang GT 5.0 (preferably the black/red Laguna Seca edition) As a classic Mustang owner myself (1969), I have a thing for Stangs. That new 5.0 impresses me to no end. 400+hp, 26mpg, and an exhaust note that just makes me want to wave the red, white and blue with pride. It's 100% red-blooded American Musclecar and yet is still a good handling and practical package. The only thing that keeps it from being perfection in my eyes is about 300lbs of excess weight.
-Dodge Magnum- quite possibly the coolest wagon ever made. I would hapily rock one for driving my kids around.[cool]
