Dave, I'll do what I can. There are a number of microbreweries around here that regularly have fruit wheat beers based on what's seasonal. I had a blueberry wheat over the summer that made me want to hurl. Terrible.

Are you talking about the pyramid apricot weizen?

theoctopus, I've tried the blueberry too and you're right. Terrible. Beer should not be sweet. Yes, pyramid is what I'm talking about. In the bottle is ok, but like I said, on tap is amazing.

Had to stop the dip as a condition for the bike purchase. (made it alot easier to quit.) and beer in almost any form. Excluding the fruit based stuff, my wife likes those

Dave do you drink Raddlers also. I agree, fruit and beer just don't mix. A Raddler is half sprite or 7up and half beer. I have become quite the Pilsner drinker here in Europe. down from 5 cartons a month to two cartons a month on the smokes. If you are mixing liquor with soda, might as well buy the cheap stuff. DP and whiskey beats coke hands down everytime. Crown and Coke when I was tending bar usually got me an underage drinker.

brew my own coopers pale ale (bloody good too) gave up the cigs over 5 years ago cold turkey.Love a jack on ice and always have a bottle of bundy rum to pour over frozen water blocks mmm having one now .
