Ok guys, I've been stuck here in armpit Africa working in this freakin heat, on this shity oil rig for 5 weeks now, got 2 1/2 weeks left to go. The only thing I had to look forward to was coming home, jumping on my Buell and rocketing up to the Tennessee border for 3 days of fun with some fellow Buellers at the Tail of the Dragon. Now they are saying that the rock slide that happened this past weekend will not be cleared until the end of April, WTF!!!!!! So......I am still itching for a fun ride and want to meet you guys somewhere. Is everyone still on for going and just hitting up the other roads in the area, or are we looking for alternate meeting areas....i.e. U.S. 421(the Snake)?? Let me know please........I really need to make this trip or I am going to lose it!!!!!!!

Anyone planning on going to the Dragon in April or anytime this year really needs to be sending emails and calling the TN governor, state legislature & DOT. Also a call or email to NC Governor would be a good idea.

Don't just sit idly by and do nothing. If one does nothing...kind of like not voting...then one has no real justification to complain.

We still plan on going. We believe it will be open by then.

Kevin

Thanks man, I have plenty of time to fire off a few emails while I'm stuck out here on the "big blue".

Cool...I'm sending more from our four different website emails. Hopefully we can make a difference.

I will be there regardless Dustin there is a ton of great riding there other than the Dragon.

Haha, no Joel, I drive the ROV's. Remote Controlled Submarines. I usually work on a deep construction boat, but work has died off in the Gulf of Mexico. So I chased some work up here in Africa for the time being. Rigs are boring as hell from an ROV standpoint, very slow paced. Construction ROV's is where it is at, Fast paced and you get to see a lot of amazing things.
