So we do lots of talking on everything about biking on here but I don't see any threads on who people use for insurance. It's something as common as filling up with gas so why not discuss it on here....

So who do you use and why? Good experiences, bad, recommendations.....

Geico, they're the only ones that will insure me overseas with a MOTORCYCLE ONLY policy. I'm stationed in Germany.

That being said, USAA has terrible follow up and is not committed to customer service. I'm glad they forced me to Geico.

progressive
+1[up]
They were good to my wife and I when she totaled her car flipping it into a river. Very quick on the pay out and made it really trouble free. I had a deer runout in front of me when I was coming home at 2 AM and hit a small pole in the right rear quarter panel. They were pretty good with this one as well, but I did have to make it clear that I wanted my car fixed at the dealer. No complaints.[cool]

Allstate. They have my house, cars and bikes. Makes it a little cheaper. I look around once a year and haven't found anyone that'll cover it all for any less.

There's a couple from awhile back. Anyway, I've had Dairyland for 6 years. Haven't had to make a claim so I guess they're good, don't really want to find out though.

I used to have Riders and my premium was about $100 a year.
However, I am in Kentucky now, where Riders doesnt service, and a No Helmet Law state...so I'm paying about $400 a year. I looked at Progressive, Geico, and USAA. USAA had the best rates, so that's who I have now.

AllState.
I have house, cars, and bikes.
Had a drunk hit my Harley and his insurance wouldn't cover the replacement ofgrips foot pegs etc. (all matching) Allstate did and then went after his insurance to get the money and did. His insurance was American Family

had them once they suck

Only had one claim with them in 8 yrs... 2 cars, 2 bikes, and renters insurance. Affordable and good coverage.

I have geico, it was the cheapest for full coverage on 2 4WD vehicles and my XB. Service from them really sucks ass though, I hit a deer a few months back and it took them 2 weeks to do my estimate.

I dumped progressive after finding out that they donate tons of cash to the ACLU (or at least their CEO does -- as well as for other ultra-liberal causes). Sorry if it offends anyone, but the best place for any ACLU lawyer and/or card carrier is the bottom of the f@#$ing ocean. F*&%ing terrorist supporting TRAITORS!!!!

Plus - Geico was nearly $400 dollars cheaper!
