I did start the buell up to hear it thump away for while ... was refreshing :D

You guys in the snow belt are lucky. All it ever does for me is get bitter cold. sometimes it snows an inch or two, then it warms enough to melt the snow off and get bitter cold again. Winter wouldn't be so bad if we had more snow.

As for having studs on the tires... yeah, I want a motard with studded tires, then I could ride all year.

During the winter in cold areas you ride on a trainer. It really doesn't matter if it's -30 in Alaska, or 10 in Ohio, you don't ride outside.

Not like I'm going to ride on the street with studded tires, my dad has a lake cottage so I'll just wait for the water to freeze and while the neighbors are out on their sleds I'll be ripping across the ice.

BTW, spending all day on Buellxb, ADVrider, and youtube watching motorcycle videos doesn't help anything.

Here, in the frozen asshole of the Northeast (New York) even our corrupt politicians are frozen, hope they never thaw out. Can't wait to retire and go somewhere cheap and warm.

seems like every 2 days it snows here in NJ :( i am sooooo looking forward to spring. hell i'll settle for 35 and clean roads :(

its in the 30s here in md. we just got snow and they're calling for more. I'm joining the coast guard and just keep praying to be stationed in miami. I cant wait to ride year round.

My buell is in my office. It has been started 3 times. I went out for a ride 2 weeks ago in the 20 dergree weather. I wore my snow boarding gear. Worked out pretty good. The trick was to keep my helmet visor from steaming up. ALot of up n down! lol!

Cheers from Brew City Wisconsin [up][up][up]

long island got hit pretty bad. its been snowing pretty much every week.. i love the snow honestly, snow = money, money = more mods, snow = time to do those mods with out having to worry about the bike being out of commission, and also i love ripping the snowmobile all over my town people look at you like your crazy.. heres a pic of my dogs chillin in the snow(i think they love it more then me)

Here in St Louis Mo. it was 42 Sat. 1-29-11. Tomorrow its supposed to be 38, I'm delivering my old bike to a friend of mine and hopefully putt around on the Buell in the park for awhile. Saw one Harley rider. I'm sure cabin fever is getting to us all. Tuesday and Wednesday look like snow again.

I'm from northern Michigan and my wife and I flew to San Juan this morning and are going on a cruise tomorrow. I wish I had my bolt here, saw two busa's and an old gsxr, needless to say I was jealous they were riding. At least it's warm and snow free here.

I live in cold ass fairbanks alaska roads are caked with a thick layer of ice and its cold as shit lately im waiting for summer time to tear up on my xb9s

Edmonton AB Canada, here. Had a few nice days last week but now its back
to cold cold. Come on spring...

This weather is miserable. I had a horrible time with ECMspy last fall, and I think I finally got it all sorted last night and now I've just gotta sit and stare at my bike for at least a month and a half more until I can see how the bike runs. Next winter I'm sticking to mods that I can see.

I'd also love a bike for riding in the snow. I'll have a motard by next winter, so I'll be much more willing to pull it out on a random day if the temperature goes up a few degrees, but I'd also love to have something really small with knobbie tires so even if the roads are covered in snow I could take it for a quick run around town. If it feels like it's gonna slip I could just leave my feet on the ground, and as long as it's light enough to drag it out of the snow if it gets stuck, I'd be set.
