well since i wont be able to buy a buell until spring i was thinking maybe i would ask and see...What make you decide to get a buell? and How did you find out about buell motorcycles?
Well for me i always wanted an enduro bike back when i first got my permit earlier this year and i didnt want anything to do with a crotch rocket or race bike. Then when a friend of mine and i went to a local dealer to go look at some bikes i saw the bike i wanted at the time a kawasaki klr 650 and it was huge and a little intimidating at first and i was a little afraid to try and sit on it lol then i saw my friend sitting on a cbr 954 and he told me to get on and that i think is when my opinion on sport bikes changed having never been on a sport bike i always thought they were very uncomfertable but i liked the feel of this bike. Now i didnt really know much about the bikes and the only manufactures i knew of were honda kawasaki suzuki and yamaha and i didnt really like the sound of the inline four too much but one day at work a buddy told me about how his dad used to race a bike in the 90's called a buell and i was like what the f$#k is a buell so i went on youtube and searched buell and found the first bike that i fell in love with. A Buell Firebolt XB12R 1203cc v-twin with a straight pipe on it and i heard that bike start up and rearly shit myself not expecting a sport bike to sound like that. So later that night i went home and searched and got some info about the firebolts and learned about all the technology in them like the fuell in frame and ztl breaks and i really liked how it has a short wheelbase and a little better riding position. Plain in simple i was in love with it and ever since then i have been saving my money to soon be a buell rider and thats pretty much my "buell story" so lets hear yours.
