what i meant firebolt was that the H-D sportster debuted in 1957 and with the exception of the rotax powered buell, the basic engine/trans/primary architecture dates back to that period.
I am also new to buell's also bikes in general. And I am completely happy that I went with a buell!! I love my xb9s!! As soon as I heard it start up, granted it got a d&d exhaust on it, but I knew it was mine. The short time that I have had it I've had so much fun on it. And I really hope Erik starts it up again. And this site is amazing I have learned a ton and am still learning almost everyday. It's a shame bulls aren't more common. People don't know what they are missing. Thanks again for all the support and knowledge that you guys give!!
