X1 won't start

Hi all, I tried to wake up my 2000 X1 after her winter beauty sleep but nothing happens? Battery measures 12.1 volt, but engine won't crank and even the cockpit or lights stay completely dead when I turn on the iginition.
What can this be?

Check your fuses and your battery ground. I have read that the Ignition switches on these bike are prone to fail for no good reason not sure how to check that.

Thanks, I'll look into that. Igniton switch is replaced a few years ago so seems unlikely.... but you never know.

Yes defiantly check the ignition they are a typical problem had this last spring was stumped someone mentions the ignition and what do you know haha good luck!!!!!
