Are you bending those pieces or welding? I'm partial to a nice clean bead to a bend. I think it gives it more character and it would work with the beads that can already be seen on the bike.
invest into a break, would make your bends easier rather than removing the material to bend it with ease...the end result is the same, but you have created a weak spot in all the pieces you've made thus far...just my 1 cent
Ha ha. So do I. It's just been too cold to be out in the garage. Been a crazy cold winter. Even with a few kerosene heaters going it just ain't cutting it when it's 3° out.
I'm getting anxious to get back into the project. Got a new shrinker/streacher and looking forward to trying it out.

On the air box cover? It will be 4 pieces. The top, two sides and a small piece around the fuel cap. I think I'll smooth out the welds though, but not 100%. It can look nice either way.
